NAK developed and implemented the Community Design Plan for this unique enclave community of approximately 50 hectares in the south of Mississauga. The guiding vision for this community was the protection and integration of existing natural features, including a woodlot and existing groves along Indian Road. These features were combined with parks and open space to create an attractive, pedestrian-friendly environment where the abundance of green space and community features play a major role in enhancing the residents’ quality of life.

The neighbourhood park in Watercolours was envisioned both visually and functionally as a ‘Garden Gateway’ to the community. The arrangement of the park spaces and their elements provides visual interest, while accommodating a range of social and recreational activities.
