DESIGN INTENT
NAK Design Strategies approached South Point as an opportunity to create a truly connected community landscape, one where 12 acres of thoughtfully programmed open space weaves seamlessly through the broader 70-acre neighbourhood fabric. Rather than isolated amenity pockets, the design establishes a cohesive park network that draws residents outward and through the community, fostering daily interaction and a genuine sense of place.
A wide variety of amenities was curated to serve the full spectrum of community life, from active sport courts and imaginative play to sheltered gathering spaces and quiet promenades. Each element was considered not in isolation, but as part of a layered experience that encourages residents to linger, explore, and return. Distinct theming across zones gives each space its own character while maintaining a unified design language rooted in materiality, structure, and landscape.
The result is a neighbourhood park network that goes beyond function; it becomes the social and spatial heart of South Point, reinforcing what makes the community worth calling home.
