DESIGN INTENT
As part of a development agreement between the City of Toronto and the developer, funding has been allocated for the creation of a new public park located across the street from the multi-tower community known as Newtonbrook. The park’s design has been carefully developed in response to the needs and feedback of local residents and stakeholders, ensuring it reflects the character and priorities of the surrounding community.
The design includes a multi-use plaza featuring a large shade structure and water play area, a children’s playground, and games and fitness zones, all set within a lushly landscaped green space. The project is currently in the design phase, with comprehensive landscape architectural services provided from concept design through to implementation.
