DESIGN INTENT
Fletcher’s Meadow is a large-scale community master plan in northwest Brampton that integrates residential neighbourhoods, parks, stormwater management facilities, and natural open space into a cohesive landscape framework. As part of the City of Brampton’s long-term growth strategy, the master plan established clear design standards and visual continuity throughout the community’s streetscapes, parks, and public spaces.
NAK Design Group worked closely with the City of Brampton and the Fletcher’s Meadow Landowners Group to develop a comprehensive Streetscape and Parks Master Plan, ensuring consistent design quality and coordinated implementation across multiple developers and phases. The plan addressed the placement and design of community features such as gateways, neighbourhood entry markers, mail kiosk locations, parkettes, and naturalized lookouts, while also guiding the integration of stormwater management facilities and parkland.
Through careful coordination and design, Fletcher’s Meadow set an early precedent for Brampton’s suburban community planning—balancing functionality, environmental sensitivity, and a strong sense of place.
